We often get asked what a tilt-shift lens is, and we thought the best way to answer all these questions in one swift go is to get Kai to make a video about the benefits of a tilt-shift lens are. We go out with a Canon 5D Mark II and a TSE 17mm f/4 lens to show you what it can do. Pricing Reference: www.digitalrev.com

he just did use a nikon strap on a canon camera in this film
Small dick? :)
If you think this is an expensive lens, then you’re probably not the demographic that should be using it.
What country is Correa? Di they speak English in Correa?
All brits are like him…too much words play distract technical details.
you must be wrong, been a member for years.
Hello there, do you know “photo SFX art” (just search on Google for it …)? There you can watch a nice free video explaining the right way to shoot awesome photographs. This made it easier for Daniel to shoot photos which leave you with a wow-effect any time you look at them. It might work for you as well.
Yeah but if you are gonna parcitipate some photography contests, you are not allowed to use photoshop or other shit.
Just saved yourself 2 grand
Camara Canon

how is it compared to lens baby lenses?? they are lot cheaper and they can give similar effects..
Photoshop -> Filter -> Distort -> Lens Correction -> Vertical Perspective. 🙂
don’t hate on it like a dog
what tripod is that ?
4:17 kennon has his 17mm… lol what do you expect… he’s asian!
Этот китаез, с плешивым носом, видимо считает себя главным в этом видео. Мудак.
Nice views. I´ve been this summer in HK, same corridors, same pictures but with my 7D 🙂
Good review!
I think I just poohed my pants, Daywalker.
Or Not
I have the T3i already and I’m bored with it. I hate the shutter sound and fps. I want to keep the tilty bendy screen and I want the topside LCD and better focus points and a bit faster FPS…my head hurts.
DAMN YOU CANON!!!!
Hi, great video…thx a lot.
I’m wondering if you know witch one should i get between 650D (T4I) and the 60D… i m doing only video…thx in advance.
Mourad from Paris 😉
60D LIKE A BOSS!
ok thanks but what is the diffidences between the 6d and the 7d
If you do a lot of sports, you will like the 7D.
hi my name is Jacob and i have the 30d i have had it for 1 year now and i like it but i dont like the 8.2mp it has i do a lot of sport shoots and time lapse i was looking at the 6d 7d and the 60d what do u think would be good for me
t3i?? Tight budget???? O_O’….. ok….
Canon 60d is better
I would to know about the video system?
I bought the T3i ONLY to shoot video, so features that relate mainly to still shooting doesn’t matter to me much. I have been told that the video capabilities (in terms of final product) is quite indiscernible between all these 3 models. Anyone have any thoughts on this, as I tend to agree with those who claim this and I seem to be able to squeeze almost anything out of the T3i in term of video quality (of course my video clip sizes are limited). ??
,,thanks” for not mentioning much about 7d
No one really knows why Canon hasnt updated the 7D’s firmware to allow for manual audio control. I that is a big concern of yours, you might want to consider the 60D. Best wishes!
The 7D’s speed, focusing and robustness are appreciated. The lack of articulating monitor is a bit off-putting, but I figure if I get serious about alternative vantage points, there’s always LiveView. What bothers me, the 20D owner who wants to upgrade to an HD-capable body, is lack of manual audio. Must I go up$cale from the 7D or wait for the much-wanted firmware upgrade?
Thanks
i want to buy a camera, what do you recomend me? i don t want to use this for sport so i think i don t need a camera with faster focusing.
just what i was looking for – actual hands on experience in the workplace. thanks for taking the time to put this up, michael!
All very nice and about similar for the most part.
what about the image quality of all 3?
t2i is just below the t3i. They are the exact camera with the t2i not having a flip screen. So as to answer your question, regard anything Michael says about the t3i in this video with respect to your t2i.
Hello Michael… do you think is worth it to change my T2i to a 7D? Is the sensor of both the same?
Thankyou for making your vids. They are terrific.I am interested in shooting vids for realestate commercials and photos for weddings do you think the Sony nex 5n, Panasonic gx1,Cannon g1x or t3i are they good enough cameras ,If not can you recomend a camera. $1000 or less. Weight is an issue also I am going to do areal videography with multicoptors.
Thankyou again for your videos they are by fare some of the best I’ve seen..
What camera would you recommend if I need to film events like at the clubs – so in the weird lighting ???
I dont think so, because that would get rid of the waterproofing of the 7D.
I really like the 7D, but I wish that Canon would make a 7Di or something with an articulating screen.
how do think i use the 60D for wedding video? any comment? and does the 60D has auto tracking focusing system that chasing the object automatically?
