I bought one of these for my Canon and it is NOT a good alternative to the original. The on/off switch on the Vello sticks out further than the Canon or Vivitar (for Canon) BG grips. You’ll find yourself turning off the camera accidentally. I was. The other thing is the screws that hold the piece that inserts into the camera’s battery compartment start to strip. All 4 will eventually strip rendering your Vello Battery Grip garbage. Mine worked for 4 months.
@AlbertaWestCountry Wow, you sure are nice. I get it that you may no like me, or anything else like that. But, you don’t really need to say that, do you? If that’s really what you feel you need to do, then just hold it in, or write it in a journal.
