Many thanks for the vid. The instructions are very clear for me and are logically arranged. May I suggest that you slow down a bit with your speech and pause slightly to enable your viewers to process the valuable information you are imparting. Keep up the good work, once again thanks for your efforts .

AF stands for Auto Focus. General, we good AF means the camera will obtain focus faster.

If you did a full reset of the settings, check the AF dial in the front and still are experiecing an issue, best thing is to contact the Fujifilm camera service in your area. 1-800-800-FUJI for US and 1-800-461-0416 CAN.

Like the camera. Have had it for a month or so but now I am stuck in MF. Can’t get out of it. Moving front switch doesn’t do anything.
    Reset doesn’t change it.
Upgrade firmware to 1.03 doesn’t help.
Changing battery doesn’t make any difference.
Section of menu that has Advanced Anti Blur, Face Detection and AF MODE are all “grayed” out; can’t choose any of the three.
So camera is useless to me right now.

Press the “Drive” button (Direction pad up) and change to standard shooting instead of bracketing.

Do you mean the S4080?? This is an exclusive model i believe to a reatiler in the UK. You can watch the S4000 video as they are the same cameras.

No. Shutter volume has nothing to do with image quality. Most people turn of the sound from the X10 to keep it super silent.

@fujiguys why didnt the HS20 have a smooth zoom like this X10? if they make an HS30 hopefully its as fast and smooth as this X10!

If you buy non-Fuji NP-50 batteries, they may not have a yellow stripe, so you have to remember that the contacts have to go in nearest the end of the camera body

Quick tip: if you just want to playback photos, you do not need to take the lens cap off and open on thru the lens. all you need to do is press and hold the green PLAY button to power on for LCD playback.

thanks for the video! I bought mine from Vistek.ca and I am happy with it as I have been using it daily for the past week.
However, a minor complaint: no Adobe Lightroom 3 support for the RAF / Raw files yet. As well, what is the filter size? People, be prepared to buy a few batteries. I use the power saving mode (dimmer LCD) and still, batteries drain quick. All in all, I am very happy with the X10. Good job!
