    @DavidResby, a few reasons 1. better low light performance 2. I prefer Nikon flashes 3. Canon didn’t have a high speed full frame camera (the 1dx has since rectified this). The main reason though was probably more that I started with Nikon, so they feel more natural to me.

    The differences between the two in the upper end bodies (60d or D7000 and above) is small and really comes down to your personal requirements. In the mid-lower end its more clear cut.
