I used my 3 stop nutural density filter and most was shot between 100/200 iso. Filmed at 25f at 1080p in my flat preset i use in my camera. Color corected and edited in Adobe Priemere CS 5.5 Please Enjoy Jacques Camera used: www.amazon.com Lens Used: www.amazon.com ND Filter Used: www.amazon.com

I have the exact same triggers.. and it works like a charm.. in an open space the range cover almost one ballroom… enough to give some background light.. had for almost 2 years now.. and have yet to change the batteries on the transmitter .. receiver wise they do last long for a few good months.. cheap and good stuff indeed..

hi – i’m using a canon 430ex (100% time using TTL) – do these flash triggers still allow for the TTL system to use? or do you have to set the flash power manually ???

Hey there! Im a videographer thinking of just trying some still-photography, on the cheap side.
I wanted to ask (since i got no clue of the whole flash system) if these cowboy transmitters could work well with a flash like in here (cheap Amazon one):
/watch?v=k3PSQPT9s7g
If no, please tell me why? Why would it be so important to get an official ‘Canon’ flash for my 5D, for example? probably theres a difference in throw distance..but anything more than that?

on my canon I had to turn silent shooting off. Silent shooting disables flash firing.

Quite true. But I think we can agree there are massive differences between the quality between an iPhone 5 and these triggers.

Do the triggers have tripod thread mounts on them?

I started shooting remote flash with these. The problem with them was when the trigger battery expired. No matter how carefully I removed and replace the trigger cover, l always detached the wire and the trigger no longer worked. After it happened the third time (and I was sold on wireless remote off camera flash) I purchased the (not that much) more expensive Yong Nuo 620s. I like the fact that you state that these are a good, cheap way of getting into off camera, remote trigger, flash

They work with the SB700’s and the SB600’s.

yes, all 3 would fire at the same time if they were all set on the same channel.

how many receivers/speedlights can the triggers set off?

January 11, 2013 at 3:11 pm
quick question, can i buy 3 triggers and then in theory fire all three of my lights on the same channel. same channel i know, because of the one trigger on camera. these will be perfect for us if we can trigger all 3 of our lights at once mainly at wedding receptions and such, thanks these will save us so much over PW

when using the live view (at least with all the canon models i’ve used except for the 1D series) it won’t fire flash from a dummy trigger (aka not a TTL flash). i’ve had my speedlite fire when mounted directly to camera in live view, but my pocketwizards/radiopoppers etc etc won’t. it’s not a problem of the triggers, but part of the way the camera works.

did you ever have to change the battery inside the transmitter? I just got mine and it doesn’t seem to be working…maybe the batteries are dead.

@habadashery2009 They will work with 3 flashes but you will have to adjust the settings manually on each flash.

would these work if your using a 3 flash setup? and do you have to manually change the settings in each flash via the controls on each flash, or can you change the flash settings in camera?
