hey thanks. these were all from when i first dove into photography. i have come a long ways since. i think its time to put another one of these together. 🙂
love the video and love the sound track with it!!! Great pictures!!!!
still smoke free?
Like the music whats the name of the album its very mellow and chilled.
haha… i agree with you there. But looking at that picture is a great reminder of why i have quit smoking. 21 days smoke-free now!!!
EWWW! The first one was gross!
This was when i just had the kit 18-55mm lens.
What lenses are you using?
it was a cheap Opteka macro fisheye lens attachment. it cost me just under $40
what u used at 3:22 ?
Give Up is just an awesome album 🙂 So shattered there are no others. That I know of? There could be, I’m not great with keeping up with music haha.
i know, right? i cant think of one postal service song that i dont like.
thanks UniversalthinkerooO, i have heard the same thing from a couple other people and i am trying to pay more attention to my comp. i appreciate the suggestion. that is the kind of criticism that im looking for. in a couple months i will put together another quick slideshow and show my progress. once again, thanks!
great song!
How funny I was looking at some other sample photos and they used a song from the Postal Service too.
Anyway your pictures are good, but you should try to pay a little more attention to your composition.
It is “The District Sleeps Alone” by The Postal Service.
Amazing photos! You definitely have an eye for photography.
What’s the song in the video?
does it fits on the nikon d5100? btw good video :D
so on a D3100Nikon this will not focus? 🙁
Angelo, hi got my Tokina 11-16 f2.8 series 2 last week . The newer model has a little bit better lens coatings. Luv it! Got mine for $700 (Aus). Do you do Real Esate photography with this lens? If you do how did you guys get started in this arean. Would be interested.
Regards
Mike from downunder.
could dust get jammed overtime when switching from auto – manual focus?
the lens doesnt have a focusing motor in it.
Why would you have to manual focus (in don’t know because im a Canon user)
the 14-24 is wider on a full frame camera.
Im gonna order this lens soon after spending a few days lookin at reviews and stuff. good vid :p
no it does not… its a constant aperture!
does the aperture change when you zoom in and out?
Alright Cool! Thanks for the heads up and info. And I wouldnt find it a big deal either. I don’t really Auto-Focus with my camera, majority of the time is Manual Focusing.
its an awesome lens. im using it on my d3100 and i love it. The only down side to it is that you would have to manually focus it. But it shouldn’t be too hard since its so wide.
How does this lens work with the Nikon D3100? I recently got the 50mm 1.8f D Lens “nifty fifty” and I love it but the next lens I would like to get would be a wide angle lens/fisheye for my Nikon D3100.
I got the lens! And it’s amazing! Loving the lens! Will invest in some good quality UV filter now 😛 And ya, the hood has to stay on when shooting. It’s mega tough to remove too so I think that’s Tokina’s way of saying to keep the hood on 😛
I have same lens and love it! Also I’m lucky because bh is 30 mins away from me
yes the lens does come with a lens hood. I recommend keeping it on the camera at all times when shooting!
Does this lens come with a lens hood?
