How funny I was looking at some other sample photos and they used a song from the Postal Service too.
Anyway your pictures are good, but you should try to pay a little more attention to your composition.

    January 10, 2013 at 1:55 pm

the lens doesnt have a focusing motor in it.

Alright Cool! Thanks for the heads up and info. And I wouldnt find it a big deal either. I don’t really Auto-Focus with my camera, majority of the time is Manual Focusing.

its an awesome lens. im using it on my d3100 and i love it. The only down side to it is that you would have to manually focus it. But it shouldn’t be too hard since its so wide.

How does this lens work with the Nikon D3100? I recently got the 50mm 1.8f D Lens “nifty fifty” and I love it but the next lens I would like to get would be a wide angle lens/fisheye for my Nikon D3100.

I got the lens! And it’s amazing! Loving the lens! Will invest in some good quality UV filter now 😛 And ya, the hood has to stay on when shooting. It’s mega tough to remove too so I think that’s Tokina’s way of saying to keep the hood on 😛

yes the lens does come with a lens hood. I recommend keeping it on the camera at all times when shooting!
