MISERY !
You’re 🙂
Your an idiot, fisheyes are practically for skating, those “black borders” are called vignetting, and it makes it look raw
Is this cropped at all in an editor
Oh well so you cropped it…
No, the video was shot with the Sigma 4.5mm.
You may have the Samyang 8mm instead.
What’s the good in it? Looks horrible with the black border…
Thanks for the quick reply. The Canon T3i/600D is APS-C. Yes the entire “ring hood” was removed and there were no front filter or rear-gel filters mounted. I noticed in a youtube review of the Canon 8-15mmL f/4 zoom fisheye, same happens: full image circle with still images BUT slight top and bottom crops of the image circle when taking 1080p footage. See my vid: /watch?v=7rI6Nvxbo4Q
What were your video settings with the Canon 7D?
– this lens is designed for a APS-C sensor, so there should be no cropping on your camera. Take a look at the removable hood on the front of the lens. It may not be sitting properly. Otherwise, do you have a UV filter on the front? This lens is so wide that any filter would cause a vignette.
I have the Sigma 4.5mm f/2.8 for my T3i (EOS 600D) and it crops the top and bottom slightly in 1080p and HD. How come your vid isn’t cropping?
Nice video! whats the name of the song?
Oh my, it really does record in a circle
if he would use a full frame, than it would have more black parts at the edges, because it captures a wider angle. I am pretty sure he cropped it. 🙂
I used the Canon 7D which has a 1.6x crop. I used Premiere Pro CS5 to zoom the video in post.
did you just crop it for full frame?
The Sigma 4.5mm is a true circular fisheye on a crop sensor. That’s not adjustable. I zoomed the video in Premiere CS5 to reduce the black frame on top/bottom.
how did you switch it too not a full circle? vigniette.
too bad theres all that vig, but it has nice distortion.
