While trying to give my buddy a tug a big rock come up and wedged itself between the frame and the wheel not allowing it to turn and SNAP! Notice my deer in the hiadlights look…lol I should have used the winch…grrrrr! BTW…I bought some d44’s to go in her this winter with a doubler 231/d300…

    I picked a used shaft up for 25$, changed the fluids, all in all less than 100$

    The rear 44 came out of an XJ and the front came out of an old Scout…the rear chromoly’s came with a matching pattern to the Scout 5 on 5.5…

    is that a winch i see bolted to the front of the plastic jeep? i must be mistaken cause only an idiot would bust his ride like that when he has a winch up front……….

    haha i wish mine woulda went out in style like that! my axle tube just cracked then the pimion bearign went out. so now i just put in a 8.8 out of an exloder. atleast i gained 4.10s

    the 8.8 from a explorer works great is as strong as 44s and fits right in .
