Your tiny girl hands make the 60D look like a chunky monster. My large masculine hands make it look like a key-chain. Thank you for the perspective.

well, that’s something we all have to live with, since Canon DSLR (I’m not sure about Nikon, but I think its the same) don’t support NTFS file format. That means you will have to keep an eye on your recording length, and plan your recording pause in advance. 🙂

    you’re absolutly right !!
and since those Canon’s can’t use the ntfs format, we’re stuck with around 10 min vids.

No, it is not a problem with your card. The 60d has a 12 minute recording limit. You can get around this with the magic lantern firmware hack. But that would void your warranty.

It is FAT32 – What should I make it then?

the problem should be because the SD card is formatted with FAT32, which limits the maximum file size to 4GB. Check if your 12 minutes video is of that size…

My Canon 60D After 12 Minutes of Footage says “Camera has Automatically stopped recording” how do I go about fixing this Error? I believe it’d be a good topic for you guys to cover. I’ve read online it has to do with the SD Card, my SD Card is:

    Lexar
    Platinum II
    16gb SDHC
    100x (10)

Im an Inspiring, young filmmaker. My only issues are creating the ideal cinematic look that is very popular in this field. Strengths (good with Lights) however didnt have access until this post. Weakness proper white balance. upload a video addressing this issue or send a link of an existing video.

Thank you for this because it also applies to the T3i which people said you cannot change the shutter speed when shooting video. Very helpful and you are not annoying.
