    red curve is your field of view. at higher increments it’s less. also if the aperture dial is not moving your aperture fins it means it is broken.

    Kid dont jerk your lens lol. Why it is not registrating is that it is an old manual lens back then they dont have a chip to give the camera info.

    The reason it doesn’t work is that older lenses don’t have the CPU contacts that the AF lenses have to communicate with the camera. You just have to set it manually. Oh yeah, it won’t meter, so you may have to invest in a handheld meter. Have at it and have fun taking pics! 🙂

    My Nikon D70s also did not recognize my Nikon 500 mm Reflex (Mirror) lens and this with the same brand, but working in manual mode was fine.
    I ones also had a slide zoom but gave it away, cause its much harder to focus AND zoom at the same time (movement of the hand)
    Kind of hard for me to understand all what you said, bacause of the echo effect in the bathroom
