I definitely don’t regret getting the 18 – 105 mm kit lens. It’s much more versatile than the 18 – 55 mm one.

I really enjoy your videos but when it comes to equipment videos its all Nikon. As a Canon shooter I would LOVE to see you branch out a little to include your fans that are not Nikon users. Keep up the great work.

great info . Let me ask you about the teleconverter. Can you explain a little more about that ? How soft is soft? How much “crispness” do you loose? Can you show some pictures with and without the converter? I have the 18 -200 and that is the lense I’d be using it on.

No trouble here. Your subject might be too dark so isn’t enough contrast. Maybe try to focus on the edge of the person to get some contrast in the focus area.

I would go with a combination like the 18-200 for its flexibility and a wide angle prime for more challenging lighting situations.

Great video, I have 3 of the lenses you mentioned. I recently bought the photo shop software but not really good with it, would it possible if you could do a video and how you edit your photos, thanks.

I use the Nikkor 80-200mm f/4 AI-S adapted on my NEX-5. This old Nikkor is very well built and precise, love it!

And it isn’t one of the worst nikon lenses. Considering what you pay, the quality is through the roof, not to mention, once again, there is very little, unnoticeable colour fringing. You seem to be throwing terms around you’re not quite sure of the meaning. And I would think I’m the better photographer, I’ve been doing it for a living for the past 6 years.

If I tried, I could probably induce chromatic aberration on virtually any lens. I don’t let the possibility of it get in my way. Which body or bodies are you using? Nikon’s newer gen DSLRs correct for it. Are you using a UV filter in front of your lens? People send me photos every day – some with CA… it’s never made a good shot into a bad shot, as far as I have observed.

You should learn to read first of all. I said it’s one of the worst Nikon lenses and you clearly haven’t tested i properly if you saying it doesn’t fringing. Look just go out and try it out, you are clearly the better photographer 😛 LOL 😉
