Maggus (Hilux) and I (yellow Landy) drive some spots of the scalecourse, that were part of the scalerun two days ago with over 30 scale-rigs at the same time. Enjoy. BTW: The steering of my Exo is a little weak on the left side 🙁
Here are 2 or 3 things you can do once you learn to set your aperture, shutter speed, and ISO on your camera. Also, learn to read your light meter. This is not hard…..you just need to do it! Once you learn to adjust these settings, you will become a better photographer.

Very nice video and rigs. My I suggest though next time putting the camera inside the hilux as a 1st person view. Other than that it is flawless.

Trying to learn manual mode, took 1 class. I have a nikon d7000, outside I don’t have this problem, but inside I am having trouble getting my meter to zero. I keep raising my ISO to 4000 & higher, but still have trouble getting meter to zero. Also I understand that the higher the ISO, the more noise. Is there a special setting I should use on the SS and Aperture to get it to meter to zero; have tried numerous settings without any luck. Thanks.

I would use AV mode and “one shot” focusing to do that. Hope that helps.
hi, whats the best mode for a portrait shot when i want to focus on the eyes and have the subject in one third of the frame and then recompose for the rest of the shot? i believe it’s something to do with the af modes etc, please advise
Oh great because that is the lens I wanted to buy. My husband wants me to take pictures of his arrowheads (he makes them) but the kit lens is just not cutting it. I will be taking close up shots of groups of arrowheads. I would love to see the results you got!

No it’s not overlap. They are two different kinds of lenses. Great choices. They are choices I wouljd make. What 70-200 did you get. You don’t need to answer btu there are 4 from Canon 5 or 6 if you count the new MKii. Try M out and I wish you all the best.

Macro lenses have a shorter depth of focus. It would be harder with a macro lens. I was using a 17-55 zoomed in to about 40mm. If you use a different lens you will see the same results. Watch the shutter speed…..you might need a tripod or to stabilize the camera. Let me know if I can help and join my flickr group. We are going to have some fun over there!
After seeing your video,I took my camera(canon eos 1000d + tamron 90 mm Macro) and I changed focus length,ISO etc but I couldn’t be able to have to same focus on two items with different position as in min 2.18 in your video 🙁

@nevergive7 Good points man. The “creative auto” in the newer Canons also works pretty good for this stuff. I just tried it out for the 1st time yesterday.
