Hello there, have you tried “PhotoSFXart” (google it)? On their website you will find a useful free video demonstrating the way to take amazing pictures. It helped Matt to create pictures that have a wow-effect any time you look at them. I hope it works for you as well…
first look at your budget and look for a lens with very high aperture like f/2 f1.8 f/2.2

Fair enough. I’m in the same camp as you. I’m saving up for a D7000 as well. I’ve seen them as cheap as AU $1178 sans warranty on the grey market. Fortunately (or unfortunately) nikonrumors has convinced me to hold onto my money because it’s quite likely the D7100 and D400 will be released later this year. Hurry up, Nikon! I just want to take the next step in my pursuit of macro photography! lol

This really sucks
That’s what happens when you use a macro lens. It’s not a effect added in.
D7000 has continuous video focus (5D doesn’t), more lenses available, shoots faster, has more storage slots, over 3 times more focus points, better dynamic range, smaller, lighter and $1,000 cheaper.
