3D Last Hydrangea of Summer (Stereoscopic DOF HD Video)

Panasonic GH1, a micro four thirds DSL(R) camera is twined for 3D shot. GH1 can shot not only 12Mpixel still photo but HD video (Max. 1920×1080 AVCHD at 1080/24P) as well. Photos of stereoscopic rigs and sync test results can be found at my Flickr site. www.flickr.com This video is the first shot for 3D video with twin GH1 rig at Kobe Forest Arboretum on Hydrangea, just ending their season. One of the advantages of GH1 is that many manual focus SLR lens with low F number can be adapted with specific adapters. Therefore Very shallow DOF video can be shot. BTW, another advantage is low light shot performance due to bright lens and relatively large image sensor.I used 135mm stereobase setting with Canon FD lenses, 50mm/F1.4 and 135mm/F2.5 at full open aperture with ND filter to maximize the shallowness of DOF for this shot. For YouTube HD version: www.youtube.com Too shallow DOF? Maybe. This is the extreme test to control DOF and follow focus of the stereoscopic HD video. DOF and Stereoscopy may be a controversial topics. I look forward to hearing any comments from viewers on this topics. To view this video in 3D, select viewing style first from 12 option of drop down list box named “3D View Style”, Red/cyan, amber/blue etc. requires 3D glasses. Some other options, parallel and cross etc. doesn’t require any glasses. No viewing style with polarization type glasses like Real D is supported by YouTube 3D so far. 3D view style drop down menu may not appear unless using latest …

3D Anaglyph Video!!!

my 3d video of a skull coming right out of the screen watch out.after that i shoot a gun right in your face!then i take a rusty chain and hit you with it put on 3d glasses then this gun will touch your nose. This is a 3d video i made with two high definition video cameras.i put the cameras about 3 inches apart.then i used a edit software to make the video 3d.the see the effect put on a pair of red and cyan 3d glasses.cyan is a light blue color.dont use real d 3d glasses or red and green or yellow and blue glasses only red and cyan will work.

14/07/2009 : 2nd test of a computer generated anaglyph movie (OpenGL & C++). This time, the difficulty was to generate the 3D only for the part of the landscape in the screen, stopping the 3D effect on the surface of your ‘3D-killer’monitor ! 🙂 This kind of picture gives the impression of watching an aquarium with the sand bottom always behind the glass. Video resolution : 1280×720 (HD) As for the first test, you need colored glasses to see the 3rd dimension. The Red/Blue combination gives the best result.

This is an anaglyph 3D video that you need a pair of red and cyan (blue) 3d glasses cyan is a light blue.without 3d glasses you wont get you the full stereoscopic effect .this video was made with two video cameras side by side on a wood mount .this was made on the first of the snow of this year.if you never seen snow this is how to experience in real life 3D but with out the cold.i take snowballs and trow them at the camera for a cool stick out of the screen effect.you need red and cyan 3d glasses cyan is a light blue color red and blue glasses will not work to see the full stereoscopic depth. YT3D Stereoscopic 3D video (mostly photos) of The World’s Largest Toy Museum in Branson, Missouri. This has got to be one of the coolest places on earth! It is a little difficult to get good 3D photos because of the reflections from the glass cases, but I did my best. I captured Lego, Toy Story, Betty Boop, PEZ, Star Trek, Star Wars, Smurfs and even the Batmobile. If you ever find yourself in Branson, Missouri you have to check this place out!

anaglyph 3d video demo – paralax

This is my demo of 3d video production. I am testing how well (or bad) does it fare uploading it in you tube. I downconverted it from HD 720p to DivX 320 x 240, using the “slow” option Also try the video “3d video de paralax / CrossEyes” which uses the new experimental 3d video player from youtube.
