This video? is taken with my Nikon D90 SLR camera – had some problem focusing at the beginning. Norræna húsið Reykjavík. (Nordic House in Iceland). The band playing was Orka from the Faroe Island and guest singer was Eivør Pálsdóttir also from Faroe Island. Eivør is one of my favourite musican and composer. Some years ago she was here in Iceland to study singing (classical and jazz). A beautiful young woman and very very talented and modest. The Orka Band is using homemade instruments and power tools usually not used to make music. The result is great, new sound, interesting and sometimes funny. Thank you Faroe Islands for giving us those great artists.
After giving my mom a quick lesson with my camera (Nikon D90), she did her thing and did a pretty awesome job! These were taken at 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant 🙂
