Sony announced three new FE primes yesterday, including a 28 f/2, a 35mm f/1.4 and a 90mm f/2.8 macro. We got our hands on the Zeiss Distagon T* FE 35mm f/1.4 and shot with it around Seattle. It features a 9-blade circular aperture and a Direct Drive SSM focus system. Check out our samples gallery

New samples from the Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art lens
We were recently lucky enough to visit Sigma’s factory in Aizu, Japan, where Sigma allowed us to shoot with a pre-production sample of the recently-announced 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art lens. CP+ 2015: First samples from the Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art lens
We’re at the CP+ show in Yokohama Japan, where Sigma is showing its brand new 24mm f1.4 full-frame prime lens. The latest in the company’s ‘Art’ series of fast primes, we have high hopes for the new lens based on our extremely positive impressions of the 35mm and 50mm lenses which have come before it. Sigma very kindly let us shoot some sample images on a late pre-production lens and it does indeed look very, very nice. Click through to take a look.

Real-world samples: Sony Alpha 7 II in Kauai
Our initial samples gallery from the Sony a7 II saw the camera tested in a variety of real-world conditions, and now we’ve followed it up with even more samples from the mirrorless full-frame camera. Better yet, we tested it out in what is arguably one of the most photogenic places on Earth. They use the same 16MP Four Thirds sensor in a compact camera-like body, but the GM5 adds enthusiast touches like an EVF and rear control dial that the beginner-focused GM1 doesn’t have. Canon EOS 7D Mark II studio samples added to first impressions
The Canon EOS 7D II is the long-awaited follow up to the 7D, offering a 20.2MP APS-C sensor, dual-pixel AF with a 65-point phase detect system and continuous shooting at 10 fps. It’s also equipped with 1080/60p HD video capture and a number of compression options, as well as microphone and headphone ports. Raw conversions added to Canon EOS 7D Mark II: Real-world samples (beta)
The Canon EOS 7D Mark II is the long-awaited replacement to the 7D, which was launched in 2009. It features a 20.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and dual DIGIC 6 image processors. It has a new 65-point, all cross-type autofocus system as well as an updated version of Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF system. We’ve just been provided with an early build of ACR 8.7 and we’ve taken the opportunity to add seven Raw conversions to our previously-published gallery of real-world samples. Nikon D750 real-world samples gallery posted
Nikon’s newest full frame camera, the D750, made its debut at Photokina this year. It borrows features from the D810 and combines them with a 24MP sensor, boasting a comprehensive video and still photo feature set. We’ve had access to a full production unit long enough to put together a gallery of real world sample images. See gallery
