  • Fujifilm GF 30mm F3.5 R WR sample gallery

    $ (document).ready(function() { SampleGalleryV2({“containerId”:”embeddedSampleGallery_9229212315″,”galleryId”:”9229212315″,”isEmbeddedWidget”:true,”selectedImageIndex”:0,”isMobile”:false}) });

    Fujifilm’s GF 30mm F3.5 R WR is a relatively compact, weather-resistant wide-angle prime lens for the company’s GFX medium-format cameras. It’s roughly equivalent to a 24mm F2.8 lens in full-frame terms, and in our shooting on both 50 and 100 Megapixel camera bodies, we’ve found it to be an impressive performer. From the Cascade foothills to Puget Sound, click through our gallery to see how it looks for yourself.

    The Canon EF-M 11-22mm F4-5.6 IS STM dates all the way back to 2013, but it’s a lens we’ve kept close at hand throughout the years as we shoot with new generations of EOS M bodies. And it has been a great companion – well built, compact and offering a useful wide-angle range.

    And so, we present a gallery of 11-22mm sample images, some of them taken recently on the higher-resolution M6 II, and some of them taken in what feels like the very distant past (remember crowded stadiums?). Take a look.

    The Panasonic G100 is officially here and we got the chance to shoot around with a pre-production model prior to launch. Despite its billing as a vlogging-centric camera, it’s also a capable stills-shooter thanks to a 20MP Four Thirds sensor. But it’s worth noting: there’s no in-body stabilization. Have a look at our samples and read our G100 first impressions.

  • Impressive sharpness: Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art sample gallery updated

    $ (document).ready(function() { SampleGalleryV2({“containerId”:”embeddedSampleGallery_1853735007″,”galleryId”:”1853735007″,”isEmbeddedWidget”:true,”selectedImageIndex”:0,”isMobile”:false}) });

    We initially got our hands on the Sony E-mount Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 while covering the launch in Japan last July. We’ve since acquired a copy here in Seattle and have been shooting with it around town (and in Cabo, pre-quarantine) primarily on a Sony a7R IV body (our initial samples were on an a7R III). These extra pixels should help convey just how ridiculously sharp this lens is. Have a look!

  • Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200mm F2.8 O.I.S. sample gallery

    The Panasonic S Pro 70-200mm F2.8 is an important lens in the L-mount system. Offering a focal range that’s popular with working pros, combined with optical stabilization as well as dust and moisture resistance, it’s a tentpole lens for S-series photographers.

    We’ve been out shooting with a 70-200mm for a few days – check out our sample gallery to see what it can do – and look out for more images coming soon.

    The Panasonic 20-60mm F3.5-5.6, arriving on the market this summer, is a little wider than is typically seen from a standard, variable aperture zoom. Priced at $ 600 it’s one of the more affordable options for owners Panasonic or Leica full-frame mirrorless cameras. We’ve got some new sample images from the lens for your consideration – in addition to the previously-published images courtesy of DPReview TV, which you can find below.
