Just Posted: We’ve just added a 36-image sample gallery to our hands-on preview of the Nikon Coolpix P7700. We’ve been using a production P7700 for a few days and as we work out way through the necessary studio and real-world shooting we’ve created a sample gallery to show you what the camera can do. Just posted: Sony RX1 real-world sample images – now updated with high ISO samples. We’ve had the chance to shoot with a near-production RX1 and have started to put together a samples gallery. These are some of the first full resolution independent samples to be taken with an RX1. We’ve shot a range of subjects, both in good light and in low light at high ISOs. As usual we’ve included a range af apertures and focus distances too.

This kit is more or less based under the grounds as a “Paparazzi” type bag. I’d carry the D300 on the Strobo with the 55-200 on one shoulder and a D90 with either the 18-105 or 50 1.8D on the other shoulder. Just Posted: Canon EOS 5D Mark III ‘production’ sample gallery

We’ve just posted a gallery of real-world sample images shot using a production-standard Canon EOS 5D Mark III. We’ve been out shooting with a range of lenses and in a variety of lighting conditions with Canon’s latest full-frame DSLR, superseding our preview gallery that was shot with a pre-production camera. The gallery includes some shots processed with Adobe Camera Raw and a shot using the camera’s multiple exposure feature.

Just Posted: A few weeks back we spent a little time with the Pentax 645D – just long enough to grab a small gallery of ‘real world’ samples using the FA 645 55mm F2.8 standard lens. The 40 megapixel 645D, which took an unprecedented 5 years to progress from announcement to production, is the company’s first digital medium format camera. We wanted to see how practical it was to use the 645D ‘in the field’ as a replacement for a smaller sensor SLR, and – aside from an aching shoulder after a day of lugging it around – we were pretty impressed with what we saw. Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm F1.4 sample gallery

Just Posted: Our samples gallery from the Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm F1.4 ASPH. We’ve had the chance to borrow a production example of this fast 50mm-equivalent lens and have prepared a samples gallery to show some of what it can do. We’ve also shot a couple of comparisons against the popular Lumix G 20mm F1.7 ASPH to see how the two lenses compare when used wide open, and give some idea of what the slightly longer focal length and wider aperture mean in terms of background defocus and subject isolation.
