At some point I dubbed 2010 the year of the test shoot. I’m way too lazy to go count how many shoots I did but it was the most in any given year so far, for me. Somewhere early on last year I decided I was a bit in a funk, creatively. I knew it was there but I didn’t quite know how to get out. Oh I tried little things here and there, and they seemed to work for a little bit but it wasn’t until I went on a trip to Southern California about a month or two ago that I really think I figured it out.
I’ll spare you the details, but sufficeth to say that the era of test shoots is behind me, for now… so, here is a fitting memorial to 2010. A best of sort of a thing.
