We’ve had more time to shoot with the Olympus E-M1 and have extended our coverage of its AF performance. In addition to incorporating real-world Continuous Autofocus examples and commentary, we’ve also spent more time shooting with it alongside an E-5, to see exactly how the two compare, and amended our impressions accordingly.
We’ve extended our Ricoh GR Preview with additional comparisons, studio shots, a larger gallery and more details on the camera’s behavior. We’ve shot our standard test scene with both the Ricoh and Sigma’s DP1 Merrill, and added the DP1M to the comparison using our forthcoming test scene. With its full frame sensor and 35mm F2 lens, it’s a camera that’s generated a lot of excitement amongst photographers, so we wanted to publish more detail of its performance and behavior.
