Nikon has extended its superzoom range to include the Coolpix P900, offering a 16MP sensor and world’s longest zoom lens, which is equivalent to a mind-boggling 24-2000mm. It features built-in Wi-Fi with NFC, 7 fps burst shooting, built-in EVF and a fully articulated 3″ 921k-dot LCD. Nikon’s Coolpix AW120 features a 16 megapixel sensor and is waterproof to 18m/59 ft. It offers a 24-120mm equiv. lens, along with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. The AW120 will withstand a drop from 2m/6.6 ft and is freezeproof to -10° C/ 14° F. Among nearly all of its peers it offers the widest lens, though at F2.8-4.9 not as fast at the wide end as the Olympus TG-3’s or Ricoh WG-4’s. The Coolpix P340 is Nikon’s latest pocket enthusiast camera, featuring a large 1/1.7″, 12.2-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, full manual controls (P, S, A, M) and Raw image capture. The P340 has a versatile 5x (24-120mm equivalent) wide-angle to telephoto zoom range plus 10x Dynamic Fine Zoom and a fast F/1.8 maximum aperture lens with Lens Shift VR image stabilization. Nikon introduces the Coolpix S810c, a compact point-and-shoot running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. With a 16 megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor, a 12x (25-300mm equiv.) zoom lens with VR stabilization and built-in Wi-Fi, it replaces the Coolpix S800c. The S810c offers 1080/30p HD video and built-in GPS, both offered in the preceding model, and adds a larger 3.7-inch touch screen LCD with 1.2 million dots of resolution.

Nikon has announced its Coolpix AW120 and S32 waterproof cameras. The AW120 features a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 3″ OLED screen and a wide-angle 24-120mm equivalent image stabilized zoom. It’s waterproof down to 18m (59ft), shockproof from a height of 2m (6.6ft), and freezeproof down to -10C/+14F. It also comes with built-in Wi-fi and GPS. The inexpensive S32 has a 13.2-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD display and 30-90mm equivalent lens. Learn more
