Show boxes inside Google Chrome when a Flash, Shockwave, Adobe Reader, or other plug-in wants to run, allowing you to click to play them.
If you are concerned about the privacy, security, and system stability implications of running plug-ins such as Flash and Shockwave inside Google Chrome, you may have thought about completely disabling plug-ins. Unfortunately, doing so makes some websites difficult, if not impossible, to access.
One option is to have Google Chrome show you when it wants to run a plug-in, but not actually do so, giving you the ability to selectively turn on a Flash widget, play a Shockwave game, display a PDF file with an external viewer such as Adobe Reader, etc….

Toggle full screen mode in the Google Chrome web browser. While tabs are hidden, switch between pages with keyboard shortcuts.
This is a simple Google Chrome tip, but beginners may find it useful. Others still may learn a keyboard shortcut or two.
When browsing a web page that you plan on staying at for awhile, such as a web-based electronic mail service such as Gmail, you might wish to temporarily hide everything else onscreen including Chrome’s address bar to view more of the page. …

Have Google Chrome ask you where to save downloaded files instead of placing them in a default location.
By default, Google Chrome places all downloaded files in a “Downloads” directory underneath your main user folder. For example, if your username is “John” and you are running Windows 7, downloads are placed in the folder: C:\Users\John\Downloads.
While many people may find this location acceptable and appreciate Google Chrome downloading files immediately without an added dialog box, power users may wish to be prompted every time a file is to be downloaded. This way you can choose where to place each file, putting movies in one folder, games in another, and utilities in yet another folder, for example….

Take screen captures of entire web pages viewed in Google Chrome, then add highlights to focus on important elements and share the captures via Facebook.
Looking to capture screenshots while browsing the web in Google Chrome, and want to print and share them with friends and coworkers? While many screen capture extensions exist, you may wish to consider Google’s own Screen Capture tool.
Features include visible web tab or freeform region capture, plus the ability on many pages to capture the entire page with the screen capture tool handling horizontal and vertical scrolling (the author tested this on a couple of pages with good results – your mileage may vary with especially large pages)….

If you are experiencing crashes in Google Chrome, pages that are not displaying correctly yet work fine inside other browsers, or if you have run into a suspected phishing site, report your findings to Google.

Merge all Google Chrome windows together into one with multiple tabs, manually or automatically, via JoinTabs.
While browsing the web in Google Chrome for a long period of time, you’re likely to create multiple tabs to browse several sites simultaneously. You may even create new Google Chrome windows, or websites may automatically open in new windows.
If you have several windows open simultaneously and would like to clean up your display by merging everything into one Google Chrome window containing multiple tabs, you can do so by dragging and dropping the tabs onto one main window. However, if you have several windows open with many tabs in each window, this dragging and dropping can be a chore. With the “JoinTabs” extension you can perform this merge with just one click. Plus, you can have JoinTabs automatically merge popups into one window if you’re tired of sites opening up new windows….

It’s been several months now and I’m really enjoying my time on Google+. One thing that has been making the experience all the more enjoyable is the use of the following extensions in the Chrome browser. The following extensions in some cases improve on the user interface, integrate my activity with other social media sites or just make accessing content easier. The following extensions are definitely worth checking out and possibly reason enough to use Chrome even more than Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer.
+Photo Zoom – Allows you to mouse over an image thumbnail and zoom in and out with the motion of your mouse. Saves a click and speeds up browsing time.
Extended Share – Expands adds a “Share on” options under each Google+ entry to quickly share the post on Twitter, Facebook, Linked In and many other sites.
Plus Minus – My favorite feature of this plugin is that it loads more posts automatically as you scroll down, but it does a lot more including designate which Circles show up in your Google+ Stream, mark individual or all posts as read, and more.
Replies and more – Adds a link under each post to “Reply to Author”. This is a huge timesaver even for a fast typist. I use this functionality all the time. The extension does a lot more so check out the extension page.
SGPlus – Is is well… awesome! This is the single best plugin of the bunch as it allows you to use Google+ as a hub to Facebook and Twitter activity. I don’t pull in my feeds from Facebook and Twitter even though I could, but I really like that I can post content in one place and have it appear on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. It’s a huge timesaver. There is tons of documentation on this plugin and they’ve made incredible improvements with it since it was first released.
If you have a favorite Chrome extension that makes your Google+ experience better share it in the comments.
