Adobe has announced the availability of Camera Raw 8.7 and DNG Converter 8.7 release candidates. Adobe announces Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13
Adobe has announced new versions of its basic photo and video editing software, Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13. Photoshop Elements updates include a new Photomerge Compose tool for copying people or objects from one photo into another, and Premiere Elements gets an enhanced Shake Stabilizer mode designed to smooth out shaky video footage. A new Mix: Adobe updates Photoshop Mix for iOS
In June Adobe announced Photoshop Mix, an image organization and manipulation app for the Apple iPad which can sync with Photoshop CC for desktop computers and Lightroom Mobile via Adobe’s Creative Cloud.Today the software maker has released Photoshop Mix 1.1, the first major upgrade to the new app. Improvements include support for large panoramic images and PNG fields as well as the option to open files directly from Dropbox. Adobe Photoshop Express update brings Raw editing
Adobe has updated both the iOS and Android versions of its free Photoshop Express mobile app. The new version comes with a number of added features and improvements but to many photographers the most useful new function will be the ability to edit Raw files. Adobe Lightroom allows users continued access after license expires
Adobe’s latest Lightroom update has made it possible for subscribers to continue accessing their images and edits, as well as some limited functions of Lightroom once a license for it has ended. Key functions, including the ability to use the Develop module, do go away once the subscription is out of date, but users retain the ability to view, organize and export images. Read more

Tamron lens profiles added to Adobe Camera Raw
Tamron has announced the addition of profiles for two of its lenses to Adobe Camera Raw. The Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD for Nikon mount and the 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD Macro for both Canon and Nikon mount have been profiled for use with Adobe’s tools for lens aberration correction for users of Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom 5.

Adobe Camera Raw 8.5 and DNG Converter 8.5 now available
Update: Amidst a slew of announcements yesterday, Adobe also made final release versions of Camera Raw and DNG Converter 8.5 available for download. A few new cameras are now supported including the Canon Powershot G1 X Mark II, Olympus OM-D E-M10, Panasonic GH4 and Sony Cyber-shot RX100 III. Camera Raw 8 users with Photoshop CS6 will get new camera support, lens profiles and bug fixes, but a few new features are added for Photoshop CC subscribers. Read more

Adobe has announced Photoshop Mix – a new image organization and manipulation app which can sync with Photoshop CC for desktop computers and Lightroom Mobile via Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Photoshop Mix allows you to access local files on your iPad, as well as import pictures from Creative Cloud and social media sites like Facebook.
