Hitler rants about D3x

23 Feb

***THE ORIGINAL!!*** Hitler is raving mad at Nikon, and lets his cohorts know about it! I authored this piece; don’t be fooled by others posting my work!! Sorry about the fading subtitles, iMovie isn’t very flexible with them. Just pause it to read if they pass by too fast..enjoy! Parodied under fair use law. Thanks everyone for making this a worldwide success so far! I wrote the entire script myself during the week after the D3x was announced. I myself am a D3 shooter and of course would love to have a D3x, but will NOT be an early adopter. Ken, keep doing what you’re doing!

How About A Digital Camera For Mom On Mother’s Day?

18 Dec

Mother's Day is about a month away so it's not too soon to start thinking about what to give mom as a gift.

Of course there's always the traditional gift stuff, jewelry, flowers, etc., but how about something most people don't often think about giving as a gift, a digital camera.

These days you can spend as much or as little as you want and be assured of getting a digital camera that will take at least "good pictures."

Don't stop with …

Digital Shot

Hello, During this video I will be reviewing the Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.6 VR DX Lens. This lens comes with a Soft Case (Not Shown) and the HB-47 Lens Hood. This is a fairly sharp lens a 200mm for the price 0.00 at Best Buy. I mostly use this lens on a Nikon D300, and I have to say that the lens focuses fast and is easy to carry around. The sharpest that I found this lens to be is af/6. If your on a tight budget but need a small versatile lens then this is the lens for you!

This video is a hands-on review on film lovers’ favorite all purpose macro lens of Nikon 60mm ƒ/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor. The 60mm ƒ/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor will NOT focus automatically with these models of D40 / D40X / D60 / D3000 / D5000. Enjoy. Music: Flamenco Sketches by Miles Davis

The Photographer Project: photographed by Brian Ach: About the project

14 Sep

The Photographer Project is a personal project by Brooklyn-based photographer Brian Ach which consists of full-length studio portraits of entertainment photographers who are based in NYC. The concept was to give the tabloid-buying public a glimpse into the lives of the people who supply these celebrity images to the media around the world on a daily basis. The portraits were shot on 6×4.5 medium format film and also with Canon digital cameras. The portraits are slice-of-life. The photographers were told to dress as they would when shooting a large movie premiere; to “arrive as-is, without any embellishments.” The Photographer Project consists of staff and freelance wire service, event, and paparazzi shooters. The portraits are all shot in my studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A gallery exhibit is in the planning stages, after which the pictures, along with 10 standardized questions to be answered by each photographer, will be made into a book. The main goal for this project is to raise money for a well-known entertainment photographer in New York, Paul Hawthorne, who passed away of amylodiosis, a serious blood disease. Over 70 photographers have come in for their portrait. www.brianach.com Filmed by Chris Barrett
