  • Nikon: “Leave The Earth For Future Generations”?NEW?

    Nikon cosponsored the “19th International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment”. This movie introduces the 1st prize global winner of the contest and her work. Coincidentally, “International Children’s Conference on the Environment” was taken place and children learned the importance of “biodiversity” the theme of the conference by participating various activities offered by Nikon.

  • Life on the island

    Short film contemplating life on the islands at the Swedish west coast. The whole scene was shot during half an hour and in one spot at the ferry quay to Hönö island (Lilla Varholmen) a sunday afternoon. I was using a D300s with the Nikkor 70-200/2.8 VR for the HD footage and a second D300 body with a Nikkor 10.5/2.8 fisheye for the timelapses. All of which I shot simultaneously on two tripods. The timelapses were shot as two series of 600 RAW images each (1200 images total) processed and exported as 1280×720 JPEGs in Lightroom, then put together as a 25fps sequence in Photoshop CS4 and exported as Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) footage for editing in iMovie. All edits and grading, vignettes etc. in iMovie ’09 on a MacBook Pro.

  • I AM STYLISH (DEKAT BEHIND THE SCENES)

    Nikon in South Africa and Dekat shoot for Abigail Betz at the Fire and Ice Protea hotel, Melrose Arch. Have a look at the Dekat July/August edition for more info.

    In this video I talk about the types of pictures I take when it is a completely overcast day. This video was filmed out in the field. I used a Nikon d3x in the video, pictures were with nikon d300 and nikon 12-24mm lens.
