CHINTELLIGENS “Asians doing Finnish Rap”

07 Feb

Chintelligens began as a way to pay tribute to the great country of Finland. Drawing strongly from pop media influences from within the culture, Sir Ender and Conductor Conductor found particular merit with the Finnish hip-hop group Fintelligens; particularly the song entitled “Mikรค Boogie”, though nobody can pinpoint the exact reason. It might have been the funky-ass beats, dank rhythm, or straight ill vibe โ€” possibly a combination of all three. Regardless, the music pulsed through the normally mundane activities of country living, and brought a new energy to each day’s discoveries of Finnish culture. Visit us for more info: www.chintelligens.com The original song is by the Finnish group Fintelligens www.youtube.com Musical tribute distributed under Fair Use Copyright for non-commercial purposes only.

Pentax 105mm f/2.8 Super Takumar | Lens Review

07 Feb

This is a test of my Pentax 105 2.8 adapted onto my 550D (T2i). Clips are completely unedited and are all shot on the standard color profile. I acquired this lens, along with a 50/1.4 Asahi Takumar, a couple weeks ago. Generally, I have been pleased with this lens. I prefer using this for photos over video. My main gripe is the long minimum focusing distance, which is 4ft. I find it annoying because I often find myself too close to the subject and have to take steps back to get my subject in focus. Definitely not for macro work. The lens is pretty sharp at all apertures. It seems to be optimum around f/5.6. I like the bokeh; it has the look of more expensive lenses. Thanks for watching, please let me know how I can improve and what lenses you’d like to see next. Song: soundcloud.com The T2i produces the same video as the T3i. (and similar video and FOV with this lens on the 7D, Ti1, 50D, 60D, and various Nikons and other cameras with 1.5x & 1.6x crop factors.)

DIY Underwater Housing for DSLR Camera

07 Feb

This a quick overview of how I built a cheap underwater housing unit to protect my Canon 60D when shooting video underwater.

www.chadsorianophotoblog.com A 1080p video shot with the Canon Rebel T4i/650D paired with the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM pancake lens at 29.97fps. Edited with Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 and used a modified Canon E-1 Movie Plugin to transcode AppleProRes422. I also used the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS lens for extreme macro closeups in the video. For support, I used the Benro 3580 tripod legs with a Manfrotto 701 HDV video head. For audio capture, I used a Senneheiser MKE400 shotgun microphone. To control incoming light to maintain the proper aperture, shutter and ISO, I used a FADER ND Mark II Variable ND filter. www.chadsorianophotoblog.com

Music: — To Aru Majutsu no Index II – Aratanaru Tatakai To Aru Majutsu no Index II – Cross Speed To Aru Kagaku no Railgun – High Speed Shinryaku! Ika Musume – Hen na Shisen wo Kanjiru de geso This is a challenge to defeat Nomad twice without taking a break, using only Magic and NO food (including Saradomin brews), although other healing methods are allowed. The video itself is entirely unedited, with the exception to adding epic background music. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I find this much easier than ranging or meleeing (with a Chaotic rapier) him combined. Storm of Armadyl is the best spell for this challenge because the spell itself, other than damage, reduces the target’s Defence by ONE level per successful cast, and I also believe the reduction stacks, compare to casting Curse (-5%) or Vunerability (-10%), as those spells cannot be cast if the target’s Defence is weakened to a certain level. It is also recommended to wield the Armadyl battlestaff to cast Storm of Armadyl with the speed of a dagger/whip. I brought brews just to see if I needed to seriously heal, but I guess I didn’t needed them in the first place. ร—.ร— Notes: — When he duplicates to four copies, be sure they’re able to reach you when attacking (just run to the middle), as when all or some of them are ready to attack, while you’re hiding behind a pillar, when running to them, they will all attack at the same time, making it more harder to tell which is the real Nomad. You can also tell if you manage to attack the real one
