-My videos are set for CROSSVIEW, they are NOT optimized for ANAGLYPH. Anaglyph viewing is NOT recommended- The Heaven benchmark from Unigine recorded with Fraps in stereoscopic 3D using Nvidia Stereo driver (NOT the built-in Unigine stereoscopic option) Yes it’s laggy (10-15fps)… but imagine my poor old 8800GTX rendering this benchmark in 2x 1024×768 (stereo!) with all settings maxed out while recording a 30fps 2048×768 video with Fraps … Video Rating: 5 / 5

I made this in 3ds Max, using a dual camera rig I created based on one of www.louismarcoux.com great tutorials (visit his site, it’s worth it!). The two animations I rendered for what would be the left and right eye I then put together in Adobe After Effects with a technique I arrived at through trial and error (if you know a better way, I would love to hear about it – like the combustion one Louis Marcoux has on his site). The technique is very simple: In Adobe After Effects import both your movies and create a new composition. To the left eye render add a Color Balance fx, and set the Red value to 255 and the Green and Blue values to zero. Do the same to the right eye render, but set the Red to zero and the other two to 255 so you get a cyan tint. Now set the blending mode of both layers to “Screen”, this will lower significantly the contrast of your movie, so add an adjustment layer over both and to this one add Levels and Hue/Saturation fx and tweak as needed. I apologize in advance if the youtube compression screws too much with the video and you can’t see the anaglyph effect. I you don’t please be polite about it and let me know. If you have further questions on how I did this or anything else regarding anaglyphs or 3D I’ll try to answer them the best I can. Feel free to visit my website at www.oscarblanco.net for more anaglyphs and a lot of my other work in 3D, animation, photography and Illustration. There’s also free downloads there, like dock icons, wallpapers …

Focal Meditation – a deep concentration of the mind achieved by focusing all thoughts and awareness on a single object – this is the key to activating PSI abilities. The best objects to select are the ones which hold your attention – a candle flame or a watch are good examples. I have tried it – any object works and every object brings a slightly different experience. But I wanted to try something innovative! BinauralFX.com Electronic devices that use light impulses to promote transcendental meditative states have been around for a long time. The technology is based on the fact that brainwaves have a tendency to change with light based stimulation of certain frequencies. This phenomenon is known as entrainment. Utilizing the entrainment effect on the human mind, the BinauralFX team has designed Stereoscopic Visual Stimulators that are able to induce a deep meditative state in a very short time. These visuals are tailored to awaken hypersensory perception, which ultimately allows the mind to further evolve. It’s truly fascinating how the human mind interprets visual rhythmical patterns, ones hypersensory perception are engaged mind starting to tune on repeatable visual patterns with a similar algorithm it tunes to music in the normal state, distortion of that pattern are gets interpreted as an alternate reality. People who are able to see the 4th dimension in stereograms would really understand that idea. BinauralFX stereo visuals are a multidimensional experience program … Video Rating: 5 / 5

YOUTUBE HELP CENTER : YT3D: Preparing videos for 3D viewing here on YouTube! Background: This video was shot on July 28th 2009 looking south from the Roosevelt Island Aerial Tramway as it leaves from the 60th street platform at 2nd Avenue. The Tram heads East along the north side of the Queensborough Bridge (The 59th Street Bridge) and arrives at the Island 4 and a half minutes later. In ‘Depth’ HOW TO: First off, you MUST have SEPARATE LEFT AND RIGHT EYE VIDEOS to produce full real 3D video for YouTube. You’ll also need access to a fairly good Non Linear Editor like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere that will allow you to composite and distort your original HD or Standard Definition videos. I used Final Cut Pro so I’ll be describing instructions for that app, but this procedure can be followed in almost any NLE. This example video here on this page was uploaded as a SIDE BY SIDE video at 1280×720. The 16:9 left and right ‘eyes’ have their aspect ratios distorted to accomplish this. in the NLE’s timeline. To do this in Final Cut Pro, Load each clip into the viewer and go to the distort section of the Motion Tab. Slide the Aspect Ratio slider to 100 which makes the videos display at half their original width. Do this to both the LEFT and RIGH EYES Now, position the left clip at -360, 0 and the other to +360, 0. If you’re using video that is a size other than 1280×720, these numbers will be different. (They can be ‘swapped’ later using ‘tags’ if you have them backwards. See … Video Rating: 4 / 5
