In the course of preparing our in-depth review of the Nikon D7100, we’re exploring the potential image quality advantages of Nikon’s decision to forgo an optical low pass filter (OLPF). As part of this process, we compared the D7100 alongside the Nikon D5200, which also uses a 24MP APS-C sensor, but includes an OLPF and have just added the results to our hands-on preview.
