    Thanks for the video, but its not a good comparison since the D lens is set at a different focal length from the non-D. The focus will be slower at 200mm (non-D)than at 80mm (D).

    I’m sure I could throw that front element round faster than the camera’s drive with the original AF version – AF

    Just got a 1997-era AF-D two ring 80-200 f2.8 – this one being a bit faster and quieter than these two.

    i have both….the d version is better, but people focused manually for years..these bozos that are constantly buying gear have no clue

    I thought is was a mini modell of Tokyo first, then a saw the cars and stuff moving.
    The dept of field looks wierd!
