It would have been mixed, as far as I remember, I don’t think I used it at its widest…

I really must upgrade my body, but before I do I really must get a stepping ring for my old film lenses. Your lens looks fun; so much light!

please let me know what you think of the feel of the lens? looking to get this as I have a canon 50mm f1.8 and its too cropped for me plus the feel and build quality feels like toy that will break at the first knock it gets =/

The focus ring on this lens is so smooth and easy. I manually focus….

This was just a 5 minute play in my garden when i got it. I have since found that it can do fantastic focus pulls. with the first object right in front of the lens and the last miles miles away – it is stunning in this respect.
It is it’s ability to focus on an object right infront of the glass and its ability to have a very shallow depth of field which is just so phenomenal.
Photographers hate this lens but if you’re into video, it is brilliant!

Video’s kinda dumb, but it’s helpful to see samples of sharpness from this “controversial” lens.

    Thanks!
