Canon EOS Rebel T3 / 1100D Video Test Foootage

Written by

Some Shots were filmed at very awkward angles without tripod, so they are shaky. Also, a lot were filmed through windows, because it was rainy. Just got my new Canon T3, and i love it. I use it for videos as well as photos. It has auto focus and manual. my favorite feature is the button that zooms in on the image on the screen, so you can focus it more accurately. Love this camera,

So nice of you idiots to post a scam/spam link here. Buyer beware, don’t go there, it’ll only fill the spammers pockets with money.

Even in photos, my autofocus cannot focus. It tries, and then just sits there. It’s like it can’t figure it out. It’s even worse when the shutter is open (in photo mode, hit the record button). The square just turns red and I end up needing to manual focus. Why??

It`s focusing itself…but before shooting a clip, you can adjust focus the way you want. Perfect for steadycam, without zooming, moveing.

IF all of the videos are the same exact length, then there might be a setting on that limits it. Your camera might be set to turn off after a certain amount of time. Mine cuts off after a minute, to save battery incase i leavit on. This may interrupt the video.

Im using the lens it came with. The autofucus is a switch on the lens, AF/MF. hold down shutter button lightly to focus, then press all the way to take a picture.

Hi. Im having problems with my own T3’s film capabilities. So I have a good sized memory card and it says it has 30 hours of film time left but it refuses to take videos longer than 11-16 seconds. Is there a setting I can change to fix this? Please help

@TwoBuckFilms There are two parts of the lens that turn, moving the actual lens and the focus plate. the focus is a narrow or deep field (depending on your aperture) that is clear while objects that are farther from the camera than the field are blurrier. when the focus is twisted, the distance it is from the camera changes. If you want one object in focus, you twist it so that it is in the middle of the field. The end of the lens twists, it moves the focus plates farther or closer to the lens.
