Can you fit a 5Dmk2 with a battery grip in the side quick access compartment? I find that most bags were not designed with a battery grip in mind.

I’m only 5’2. Will this bag look too big for me? I want to be able to carry a laptop also, but I don’t know if the lower models will allow that or not.

you need better lighting on your video, the bag is dark and it’s difficult to see

@TekBeatTV : Nice review! Thanks. I have been trying to decide on either this bag or the Lowepro Vertex 200 AW. The only thing that is keeping me from deciding to go for the Lowepro is that it might get too big for cabin baggage and some airlines might not allow them in cabin.
Have you been able to travel freely with this bag?

Nice review, m8. I prefer “classical” arragment, can you put long dividers along the bag?

Since today I have the Vanguard Up-Rise 43 backpack which is also a very nice item. It has enough space to carry all my equipment…..even my Sony 70-400 tele fits in it.

Sorry you feel that way, I actually used the bag for quite awhile. I took it with me to CES 2011 and a few adjacent conference trips and it worked wonders. Thanks for the input anyways.

Not a really good review. I mean, it is good, but it looks like the guy owned the bag for 5 minutes. I have this bag for quiet some time, and indeed it is awesome but it is DESPERATELY missing small pockets. Nowhere to place a memory card reader, additional cards, batteries or whatsoever. The upper compartment has two net pockets, but that is not enough, and net pockets are good only for smooth items, the others get stuck, and all the stuff in upper pocket is NOT FIXED, just keeps moving around.

The movie is underexposed… I don’t even see the bag.

Thank you very much. I’m almost completely inclined to buy this bag. I’ll drop into the local shop and see if I can pick up a piece. Once again, thanks for the great review. =)

There is one compartment I believe that is still accessible from the side (which will fit a lens). Hope this helps! 🙂

I’m considering buying this bag. However, one thing has been bothering me for a while. Are the lens slots/compartments accessible from the quick access slot on the side. All the videos show the camera being accessible from the side. But, say I need to switch lenses, will I need to open the whole thing up to get to my spare lenses? A little light on this would be greatly appreciated. =)
