I guess the way to force open the aperture is to go to the lowest Iso on a compact camera.

Its called a shallow depth of field, most DSLRs are capable of it, but if you have a compact or a mirrorless, open up the aperture to its widest, and go back some and zoom in all the way until the subject is in frame.

Hey, do you know “Photo SFXart Tricks” (just google it)? There you will find a good free video explaining the right way to make incredible photographs. It made it possible for Daniel to take pictures that have a jaw-dropping-effect whenever you look at them. It might work for you too.

Why do people crop 16:9? Wasn’t the point of 16:9 because we cropped 4:3?

Does the lens (50mm nikkor) automatically make the footage widescreen?

The bike scene at 0:22… What effect has been added? Is it magic bullet mojo? What are you settings on the camera and are you using an f1.8 50?
